What is Animal Hospital (Anomaly)?
Animal Hospital (Anomaly) is a Roblox horror-survival game where you work the night shift at a veterinary hospital. Cute animals queue up at your check-in window - but some of them are not animals at all. Your job is to spot the fakes using three checks, treat the real patients with the exact medicine they need, and keep your sanity from hitting zero.
There is no ending: shifts keep coming until your sanity runs out or three animals die (from Shift 6 onward). NPC storylines - Barney, Ratthew, Ron, and Liz - unlock permanent rewards like a second coffee machine and Ratthew's Key along the way.
How to Survive Your Shift

Look at the patient for a few seconds. Seven of the fakes are visible here: twitching, three eyes, hollow face, human teeth, mismatched eyes, poorly drawn face, and more.
Take a Photo
Snap a polaroid and let it finish developing before you pick it up. A different eye color, ear shape, species, or a black static image means it is not a real patient.
Check the Cameras
Nearly half of all fakes are invisible at the window - they only show up on CCTV as black bars, stretched bodies, or void shapes. Never skip this step.
Shift Milestones
Two scripted patients, never fakes. Learn the treatment loop.
Shutters and cameras unlock; real anomalies start checking in.
Free taser appears and the first 6-patient ambulance rush lands.
Three animal deaths now end the run. Dr. Harlow's last visit.

Sanity is your health bar in Animal Hospital. It starts around **61-65** and drains **1 point every 50 seconds** just from working. ## How It Works - **Coffee** restores 15 sanity and brews every three minutes - **Chocolate bar** restores 60 sanity - **Tasing a fake patient** gives +2 sanity; **tasing a real patient** costs -15 - **Below 35 sanity**, the screen loses color and the music slows as a warning - drink something quickly - **At 0 sanity, you die** and the run ends ## Class Interactions - **Psychologist** doubles all sanity effects - both positive and negative - **Secretary** gains 1 sanity per patient check-in - **Doctor** gains 1 sanity per patient healed - **Firefighter** (level 3) is immune to sanity drain from fires and gains +10 maximum sanity

Animal Hospital (Anomaly) has **infinite shifts**. There is no final level or story ending - the hospital keeps filling with patients and anomalies as long as your run lasts. A run ends when either: - Your **Sanity reaches zero**, or - **Three animals die** (the three-death rule activates from Shift 6 onward) Key milestone shifts: - **Shift 1**: Two scripted patients, never fakes - a tutorial - **Shift 2**: Shutters and cameras unlock; real anomalies start - **Shift 4**: Free taser in the Check-In Office; first ambulance rush (6 patients) - **Shifts 11-12**: The Hazmat slime event and Liz's UV camera side story

Barney is one of the most dangerous anomalies in Animal Hospital Anomaly. He appears as a white rabbit-like creature wearing a brown hat, mustache, and plaid pants, and he is one of the game's biggest NPC storylines. **How to Deal with Barney:** - **Early Interactions:** Comply with his coffee requests to keep him calm - he visits five times total - **Time Management:** Never make him wait long; if his requests are refused or delayed he turns hostile - **His Requests:** Coffee, a briefcase marked "Do Not Open", a photo (which reveals he is anomalous), and a scalpel from Room 8 - **Final Confrontation:** When Officer Duckman arrives with a wanted poster, choose between: - **Report Barney** (press E): he attacks the officer and destroys a camera before fleeing - **Stay silent** (about 30 seconds): the officer leaves, and Barney rewards you with a **second coffee machine** **Critical Tip:** Barney is unpredictable and can turn violent quickly.
