🐾 Animal Hospital Anomaly

CCTV Monster

Check-in AnomalyVisibleShift 1+

Looks normal in person, but appears with a gaping maw or elongated limbs on the CCTV monitor.

This is a check-in anomaly - you can catch it during registration using the three-check routine: look at the window, take a photo, and check the cameras. If anything looks wrong, close the shutter - it costs nothing, whether you were right or wrong.

⚠️ Warning Signs

Looks normal in person, but when you switch to the front desk CCTV monitor, you'll see it with a gaping mouth staring at the camera (or with limbs stretched extremely long).

✅ How to Handle

Do not register! Press the red button to close the shutter and reject entry immediately. If mistakenly admitted, it will attack in the ward.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

  • Not watching the patient long enough - some tells, like twitching, appear very quickly
  • Relying only on the window while skipping the photo and camera checks
  • Hesitating and letting the patient register before you close the shutter
