What does the sanity meter do?

Question 14 of 18

A

The sanity meter in Animal Hospital Anomaly tracks your character's mental state. It decreases when you witness disturbing events, stare at anomalies like The Watcher for too long, or spend extended periods in complete darkness. Low sanity causes visual and auditory hallucinations — you might see phantom anomalies that arent really there, hear false audio cues, or experience screen distortion. At critically low sanity, your character starts moving slower and making involuntary sounds, making you an easy target. Restore sanity by staying in well-lit areas, using calming items, or staying near teammates. Keep your sanity above 50% for optimal performance.
