What happens when Ratthew dies in Animal Hospital Anomaly?

Game Over Mechanics
If you fail to protect Ratthew during his shifts and he dies, you will get a Game Over screen. In solo play, if everyone else dies, it also triggers a Game Over. His death results in a failure state — he doesn't "come back" to life in that same run.
Restart Required
To continue his story and get his secret key, you must restart your run and ensure he survives all of his scheduled visits.
The Process
You will encounter Ratthew across multiple shifts (usually from shifts 3 through 8 or 9). You must:
- Keep him safe during each visit
- Treat his ailments successfully every time
- Never reject or harm him
The Reward
On your final successful visit, he will sit at the counter and tell you the story of his missing sister, Ratina. Afterward, he leaves behind a note and Ratthew's Key.
Unlocking the Lore
Use his key to break into Room 5, unlock the hidden safe, and discover secret lore about the Animal Corporation.
